Amphitheater

Birth
Moss-blushed marble pillars stand strong,
Enduring nature’s harshest phenomena.
The ground births ivy, born to climb;
Snake-like rhythm embraces the lime
Entangled vines in an eternal dance,
Filling empty seats in theatric stance.
Sleep
Dramatic woven patterns, tight around pillars,
Found home in the Grecian marble theater.
Whispers of old stories hum in their vibrato.
This coliseum is home to the liberato,
Roots firm underneath assuring
This is the god that Mozart was hearing.
