This is the first bed-size quilt I have made since I started quilting at the end of 2024. It was made using a large variety of cotton fabrics that rely on the contrast between dark and light values to reveal the pattern, rather than colors. I design a heart block to add into each quilt I make as a symbolic way to send my love with the quilt. This quilt was made as a gift for my cousin for his wedding. I both pieced and quilted it by myself. The pattern is "Idaho Beauty" by Pat Speth.
