ARTIST STATEMENT
I aim to mimic reality in a whimsical way, and find inspiration in how everything we see, feel, and experience is shaped by our understanding of it. My process consists of mixing media to generate various perspectives for a unique interpretation of ordinary subject matter. My style is experimental – a mix of abstract and contemporary. My goal for my work is to bring others something unique because everyone deserves uniqueness: a unique career, unique goals, a unique life, and especially, unique art - something that speaks to them. Sometimes our everyday world is typical, so I aim to allow viewers to see that in this ordinary world there is something exceptional: the most beautiful thing in life is the life in the heart of each of us.
