ARTIST STATEMENT
Cancer is a silent thief. It quietly steals your dignity, strength, life. There is a violence going on within. If we allow it, faith can help us to persevere with a Mona Lisa-like grace.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dave Morey (’80) studied under Fr. Edward Catich, Tom Chouteau, John Schmits, and Les Bell. He currently lives with his wife, Cindy, in Rockford, Illinois, where he is employed as a printer. He and his wife find their greatest joy in spending time with their grandchildren.
